BBC London .. 15 November 2015
Lee Mead at BBC Radio London Lee Mead joined Gaby Roslin in the BBC Radio London studios for her afternoon show on Sunday 15 November - of course they chatted, and Lee was also expecting to sing a song or two from his new album (out in March, available to pre-order now!) and tour set (last two 2015 dates coming up but more scheduled and to be announced for 2016) but he wasn't expecting also to be asked to sing live with fellow guests, Blake (pictured right with Lee and Gaby)!

It may have been off the cuff and almost entirely unrehearsed, but the choice of song - Bring Him Home, sung in tribute to all those affected by the Paris atrocities - and their performance of it was stunning. It was viewable for 24 hours post-broadcast on Gaby's Periscope account, but the audio clip is still available on her BBC Radio London page.

Lee went on to sing 'All The Things You Are', one of my favourites from his forthcoming album - beautiful lyrics and a simple, lilting melody - and the stand-out song (in my humble opinion) from his tour 'Feeling Good', which is not due to be on the album, so if you want to hear it again, come to one of his gigs! The chat was lively and covered a lot of ground, from Lofty to panto to album and tour and, last but not least, to his long-awaited return to the musical theatre stage as Caractacus Potts in the 2016 UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Lee is very busy and very happy, and that is great to hear.
