Lee joined James Martin and guest chefs Patrick Williams and Bryn Williams on Saturday Kitchen - which given his love of food, had to be a slice of heaven in itself for Lee, notwithstanding what follows...Faced with Lee's choice of food heaven - lamb, and food hell - batter, the guests in the studio and callers to the programme subjected him to 'hell' - fritto misto (beer-battered seafood). In a surprise move I've never seen before or since, however, James was kind enough to allow him a taste of heaven too - roasted crown of lamb.
