Lee's long-awaited first concert was all that I'd expected and much, much more. Before a hometown crowd, liberally scattered with loyal fans from around the country, Lee performed song after song with power and passion, and with the emotional connection and glorious voice that have made him a star.
Accompanied by his own live band (hopefully he'll introduce
them next time!), and supported by Niamh Perry, he mixed old favourites from his days on the Any Dream Will Do TV programme, with material from both his albums, a few musical theatre numbers and a few real surprises.
For those who have yet to go to a concert, and wish to retain that element of surprise, I have put the set list on a separate page so you can avoid it if you wish!

Photography was strongly discouraged, but I include the few I took before being given the shake of the head (click on thumbnails for full-size, if slightly blurry, images)
