When news first broke in the early hours of 28 January that Lee was to return to the West End to play Fiyero in Wicked from 10 May, it came straight out of left field - once again Lee has done the unexpected and I have no doubt this move will be as successful as previous such decisions.

It became 'official' later in the day and the announcement on the Wicked website gives the details. My warmest congratulations to Lee - I very much look forward to seeing him in the role.

Subject to holidays and unforeseen circumstances, Lee will play Fiyero from 10 May 2010 until 5 February 2011. In addition, Lee's holiday dates are now confirmed as:

- w/c 7th June 2010
- 9th-11th August 2010
- w/c 20th September 2010
- w/c 29th November 2010
- w/c 3rd January 2011

The show's booking period has extended until 30 April 2011 and tickets can be bought from all good ticket agencies, including:
