BBC Radio 2 hosted an Andrew Lloyd Webber Gala Concert as part of their 'Friday Night is Music Night' series. Recorded in front of a live audience (of which I was privileged to be part) on Sunday 19 August 2007 at London's Mermaid theatre and broadcast on Friday 24 August.It was hosted by Denise Van Outen and featured many West End stars, but it was Lee who brought the house down ... almost literally! Sadly, the sound mixing on the broadcast version robs you of the completely mind-blowing quality of his voice in Close Every Door - it's a performance I shall never forget.
