Less than a month after he won Any Dream Will Do, with rehearsals in full flow, Lee was invited to perform, with two other legendary Josephs - Jason Donovan and Donny Osmond - at the Concert for Diana held at Wembley Stadium on her birthday, 1 July, in the year that marked the 10th anniversary of her death and hosted by her sons, Princes William and Harry. The concert was broadcast in 140 countries across the world, with an estimated potential TV audicence of 500 million. With over 60,000 in the Stadium itself, it was quite the Joseph debut for Lee... and one he has often spoken of as one of the most memorable events of his career.
