Some Enchanted Evening Tour .. starting July 2015

Lee has often spoken in interviews of the theme for his next album... asked repeatedly over the years why he has not recorded a musical theatre album, he cites previous examples of the genre, from John Barrowman, Michaels Ball and Crawford and many others, adding that he has no wish to add to the catalogue unless he can do something a little different.

So, for his Some Enchanted Evening album (due for release in Spring 2016) and the tour of the same name which kicks off in July 2015, he is drawing on the music that inspired his own love of musical theatre during a childhood when he avidly watched the great Hollywood musical films on TV. Films that gave us such classics as 'Singin' In The Rain', 'Luck Be A Lady' from Guys and Dolls, 'The Way You Look Tonight' from Swingtime and of course the song that gives name to the tour 'Some Enchanted Evening' from South Pacific, all of which featured in his 2014 tour set.

Lee's filming commitments to BBC's Casualty mean that his shows are again scheduled at weekends within reasonable reach of Cardiff, but he has said he hopes to add more dates, including some further north, around the time of the album release next Spring. As he did with great success last year, Lee will end the 2015 leg tour in style with Some Enchanted Christmas Evening at London's Garrick Theatre on Sunday 6 December - and tickets are selling fast!

UPDATE: It has now been confirmed that Lee will be touring 'Some Enchanted Evening' again in 2016 - with a handful of dates in March before he starts rehearsing for Chitty and more in October when he has finished his run. News of the first date has been released and all will be added to the 2016 tour page as they're announced.

I am delighted to learn that Lee's 2015 guest will once again be his delightful Casualty co-star, Amanda Henderson - her beautiful voice is a very welcome addition to the tour.
