We've seen climbing, floating, sword-fighting, elephant-riding, ditty-singing, archery and much more besides from Lee in his previous panto roles as Jack in 2012/13 and Robin Hood in 2013/14 - what new talents can we expect to be revealed this year!
Lee will be joined in the cast by Linda Lusardi as The Fairy Godmother, Sam Kane and Mike Doyle as The Ugly Sisters, Andy Jones as Buttons, and former Welsh Rugby international, Gareth Thomas as Dandini, and his Cinderella will be played by Holly Bluett.
From the theatre's website:
"Enchanted pumpkins, sparkling glass slippers, a pair of Ugly Sisters and a handsome Prince can mean only one thing, the magical pantomime Cinderella is coming to the New Theatre!
Don't miss this charming fairytale adventure that sees a young servant girl who, with a little help from her friends, attends a royal ball to meet the man of her dreams.
Enjoy an exciting show full with an abundance of comedy, dazzling dance routines, spectacular sets and all the usual panto magic. Book your seats early before they sell out, otherwise not even your Fairy Godmother will be able to magic you a ticket for Cardiff's biggest pantomime yet!
Lee was quick to confirm his involvement, but could he have designs on more than one panto darling this year?
Yes, the rumour is true. I WILL be looking for Cinderella's slipper in Cardiff this Christmas. -Going on a date with Snow White first though— Lee Mead (@leemeadofficial) March 27, 2014
