SERIES 29, EPISODE 16 - CLINGING ONNot a huge amount of Lofty gracing our screens this evening, but what there was was pure class. More 'character' is being given to the character each week, and it's great to see Lee getting the chance to extend his acting range beyond 'clumsy but lovable' and 'empathetic and caring' to embrace the cheekier side of that personality.
Synopsis: Connie is torn between spending time with Grace and dealing with a demanding patient who has been brought in after falling at home, and is suspected by her daughter of manipulating circumstances to her advantage. However, the staff are determined to establish whether or not she has a legitimate condition.
Zoe realises life is too short after treating an elderly man who injured himself by falling through a shed roof while attempting to evade a girlfriend. However, on approaching Max to tell him how she feels, she finds the porter in a clinch with a nurse.
