SERIES 30, EPISODE 3 - OBJECTUM SEXUALI had high hopes for 'Lofty-time' in this episode given Lee's 'second-billing' on the cast list, and I wasn't disappointed. Central involvement in an unusual storyline put his highly expressive face to very effective use - he can speak volumes with the hitch of an eyebrow or the hint of a smile and his character's sensitivity to the patient was wholly believable - it was a real joy to watch.
Synopsis: It's Louise's first day nursing, and she is struggling. Will she overcome the challenges? A groom has a lucky escape, after he passes out in a condemned building on his stag do. He is saved by Angeline, who attempts to stop the builders demolishing the place - and trips and needs medical attention herself. Amidst accusations as to who left the groom in danger, Zoe convinces the bride-to-be to postpone the wedding.
An unusual romance flourishes at Holby Emergency Department, as Angeline falls in love with the hospital building. Elsewhere in the ED there are other love complications as Honey and Ethan experience difficulties with their relationship, and Zoe is surprised that Max hasn't told people she cheated on him. Meanwhile, following an altercation with a traffic warden, Iain finds himself faced with an assault charge.
