S19-E61 : GROUP ANIMAL Part OneAfter a week off-screen, Lofty returned this week to the "explosive two-parter" trailed after the 21 November episode which also saw the arrival at Holby of hot-shot surgeon, Professor John Gaskell, played by former Doctor of a different ilk, Paul McGann. Lofty popped up fairly regularly - providing a touch of comedy "am I standing too straight?" along with a little of the intuitive nursing we've seen from time to time - in this episode focusing on medical storylines until its final moments... Holby's own "duff duff" leading into Part Two (8pm, Thursday). Great work all round, but special mention and huge respect to Rosie Marcel (Jac Naylor) whose breakdown was as convincing as it was heartbreaking.
Synopsis: A new arrival in Holby sets the wheels of change in motion. Is the hospital ready for a new world order? With all eyes on Jac, she's forced to take an inventory of her personal and professional life. Is she ready for what may come to light? Raf is reminded of why he fell in love with medicine. Is his new-found passion here to stay?
