Heartfelt congratulations to Lee and Denise and a very warm welcome to their beautiful daughter, Betsy Mead, born at 12:24pm on 1 May, weighing 7lb 10oz.Denise said: "Betsy is happy and healthy, we're both very proud. I think she looks like her dad!" The proud parents are "very ecstatic." Deservedly so and reason enough, I hope you will agree, to break my usual rule of focusing solely on Lee's career!
At Denise and Lee’s request publications have given a donation to The Louis Dundas Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital in return for this photo - I have done the same.
