Lee headed back to his home town to join the line-up at this concert at the New Empire Theatre staged by local singing group Trillogy in support of Children in Need. One of the trio is the daughter of a former singing teacher of Lee's and one of his songs on the night, 'On The Street Where You Live', was one of the first songs she taught him!
Tickets sold out within hours of going on sale and with a 'razzle-dazzle' programme of songs from the movies ranging from the 1930s to the 2000s, Trillogy - that is Hilary Pell, Vanessa Cozens and Colleen Elvidge - Lee and other local performers raised £3,000 for the charity.
