Joining Lee for this London residency were Glen Carter (25 May to 8 June) - Jersey Boys, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess and much more, David Thaxton - Les Miserables, Passion, Love Never Dies, Stephen Rahman-Hughes (10 - 22 June) - West Side Story, Bombay Dreams, Teatro and who was of course an integral part of last year's West End Men concerts, and Matt Willis - Flashdance, Footloose, Wicked. The Men were joined by special guests Kerry Ellis (25 May to 15 June) and Carley Stenson (17 to 22 June), last seen on the West End stage with Lee in Legally Blonde in 2011.
Directed once again by Mitch Sebastian, and produced by Milton Morrissey and Jason Haigh Ellery in association with Paul Tyrer and Jamie Clark for The Booking Office, the show ran from Saturday 25 May to Saturday 22 June, with press night on Monday 3 June.
With the change in format, from three Men to four, and several new additons to the line-up, I was told there was lots of new material to look forward to, together with new arrangements for some numbers we'd seen before - and so it proved, as you can see from the setlists - one taken from the first night, the other from the penultimate night to reflect the different solo numbers performed by the changing line-up.
Finally, a couple of videos released to whet the appetite for this West End run - first a trailer filmed during the 2012 tour, then day 1 of rehearsals with the West End cast...
