Together Again .. 7 October 2018

I think it was back in May, at Lee's 10 Years tour gig in Newport, at which his great friend Stephen Rahman-Hughes was a guest, that they first mentioned this October show... now on sale! The duo have followed Lee's solo show (18/19 August) across town from The Pheasantry to Pizza Express Live's new Holborn venue, where the capacity is a little larger but the vibe still deliciously intimate.

Entertainment is guaranteed when these two get together, as the many who enjoyed their earlier Both Sides Now gigs will attest, and I'm thrilled we've a new show - appropriately called Together Again - to look forward to. I won't try and out-blurb the venue's website, they sum it up perfectly:

"Together, these two extraordinary singers will delight their many fans with a rich tapestry of musical magic, including songs from the influential artists who have inspired them. Their rare shows together sell very quickly so book early to avoid disappointment!"

There are some set teasers too, and while I'm absolutely delighted to see included the latest addition to Lee's ever-growing repertoire - From Now On from The Greatest Showman which he sang recently on Jane McDonald and Friends - these few words are even more exciting... "plus new songs which Lee has co-written"! Lee has said at recent concerts that he's started song-writing again, with his tour MD Adam Dennis, but I thought it would be very much longer (his next album in 2020 perhaps) before we first heard the fruits of their collaboration.
