My Story - A Dream That Became A Reality .. 2019
Lee Mead : My Story, 2019 Lee started to talk about a new and rather different format of show for 2019 a few months back, offering more details as the plans came together - he'll be sharing the stage with an interviewer (the delightful Beverley Humphreys whose chats with Lee for BBC Radio Wales have always been so illuminating), there'll be film footage too and questions from the floor - and with the tour now formally announced by Total Productions, the concept is crystalised as follows:

Lee invites his fans to join him for an intimate interview, completely stripped back where he gets the opportunity to talk not only as Lee the showman but also as Lee the man. He will talk about the magical moments, the highs the lows, the memories and of course the songs, the songs the audience love to hear.

And he won't just be talking about the songs - with a piano (and pianist!) on hand, he'll be singing a few too. See Lee talking about the concept in this interview with online radio station, Encore.

Having just returned from the Stages Festival, where in addition to his two headline shows and a fabulous 'unplugged' set, Lee charmed and thoroughly entertained the audience at a similar-style interview/Q&A session, I'm looking forward even more now to My Story - A Dream That Became A Reality in 2019 and I'm sure the many new fans he gained at sea will welcome the chance to see him again back on dry land!

UPDATE 28-MAY-19: Get a real flavour for the fun and format of the tour, and just a taste of Lee's incredible voice, in the rather wonderful new trailer below, then scroll on down to find tour schedule, booking links, Meet & Greet details, etc and pick your date!

UPDATE 17-JUL-19: EXTRA DATE!! Having enjoyed a hugely successful run of his play Someone Who'll Watch Over Me in Chelmsford in June, Lee will head back to the city with his My Story show for a tour finale at the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford on Sunday 10 November!

UPDATE 31-OCT-19: RESCHEDULED DATE!! Lee is honoured to have been invited by the Royal British Legion to be part of the 2019 Festival of Remembrance in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen - as a result the Loughborough date originally scheduled for 10 November 2019 will now take place on Saturday 13 June 2020. Ticket-holders should call the Box Office (01509 231914) to transfer their booking to the new date or get a full refund.

UPDATE 13-MAY-20: Sadly, the Loughborough date - rescheduled from last year for very much happier reasons, has this year fallen victim to the COVID-19 pandemic that has closed the doors of theatres and venues world-wide. Loughborough Town Hall have today announced the extension of their closure to the end of June at the earliest but also advised that "Our Programming team are currently working with the show's promoters on re-arranging Lee Mead's date with us. All customers will be emailed as soon as we have more information." Let's keep everything crossed that they manage to reschedule.

UPDATE 11-JUN-20: UPDATE!! A new date has been found for the twice-postponed Loughborough show - Sunday 14 March 2021 (Mother's Day). Tickets for the old date will be automatically transferred but a credit note or refund will be available to those who can't make it then. However, the Box Office remains closed at the moment, with staff working remotely to contact the thousands of customers affected by the cancellation or rescheduling of all shows since the lockdown commenced in March. So please bear with them - they will be in contact with individual ticket-holders as soon as they can.

Lee has this special message for the patient Loughborough ticket-holders...
