Lee's long-time friend and oft-time musical collaborator, Stephen Rahman-Hughes, announced his latest gig - Standard Time at Pizza Express Live in Holborn on 2 February - a while back (when many of us booked!), but just as we were adjusting to the prospect of a 2020 calendar almost entirely devoid of Meady dates, this weekend brought the happy news that Lee would be a guest on the night!The show is billed as "an intimate and enchanting evening, packed with stylishly arranged jazz standards, soulful pop and Stephen's delightful twists on some of the most popular show tunes". I predict much laughter along with the music, and with the inimitable Joe Thompson on piano and other guests including Dean John Wilson and Toby Alexander-Smith, it promises to be a special evening.
