As Lee promised on stage on the night, his amazing Live at the London Palladium 40th birthday celebration concert will be streamed worldwide via stream.theatre on his actual birthday - 14th July - and in the following days, booking details below.

Lee was accompanied on stage by a 12-piece band, including a brass section who regularly perform with Michael Bublé and Mark Ronson and a string quartet, under the musical direction of keyboardist Adam Dennis.

The show saw Lee performing highlights from his 20 year career in musical theatre, along with songs from his five albums and new material that he's been busy writing during lockdown, with contributions from special guests Steve Balsamo, Kerry Ellis, Marisha Wallace and Dalton Harris.

Tickets cost Ł15 (including fee). Please note this is a scheduled stream event which is only available to view at the advertised time and date (not on demand). You can watch on any device - mobile, tablet, laptop, TV (via your Smart TV's internet browser or using an HDMI cable from your laptop). The range of merchandise on sale at the Palladium is also now available for order online.

VIEWING TIPS!
A few people had problems accessing the stream on Wednesday evening as their purchased show wasn't showing in the My Events screen of their account - if this happens to you, the following should work:

Go to the show page at stream.theatre

SIGN IN via the link top right of screen (if you see a blank profile icon instead of the link, you're already signed in)

Scroll down and hover over/click the show you've booked and...

EITHER if you see a 'Book Now' link, click it - this will take you to a screen with a 'Thank you for your purchase' message and a 'Watch Now' link which will be active around an hour before show time

OR if you're checking ahead of time (recommended) and don't see a 'Book Now' link but do see a green tick on the show you've booked (I get this on my iPad but not on my laptop), this confirms your purchase and you'll be able to click the show to access the stream from around an hour before show time.

If you're still having problems, please contact stream.theatre direct, quoting your order number - their response seems more reliable during normal office hours, hence the recommendation to check out your access ahead of time!
