It was announced today (24 January) that Lee will be a special guest star at the opening two shows of the Dreamcoat Stars UK tour, in his home county of Essex on 2-3 March 2023. The Friday evening show at Chelsmford Theatre has long been sold out, but an extra date has now been added the previous evening and tickets for that go on sale at 10am on Monday 30 January.The tour features stars from the hit show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - including Lee's good friend Keith Jack - coming together for an evening of West End and Broadway musical classics and anecdotes from the stars' time in the role of Joseph. The production is packed with songs from much-loved musicals including Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, SIX, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys, Les Misérables, Moulin Rouge and more.
With over 60 dates around the country, ending the first week in June, there are many opportunities to catch the tour... but only one chance to see Lee - both the tour's website and Lee himself confirm that he will be appearing on these two dates only.
UPDATE 30/01/2023: And... just ten hours or so after tickets went on sale, the second date is SOLD OUT!
