Lee Mead has form for dreaming big and seeing those dreams come true... his big break came when he entered the BBC TV series Any Dream Will Do - Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for a Joseph to lead the 2007 West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.Flying through the early audition rounds that reduced a field of over 10,000 hopefuls to the final 12, he took a huge leap of faith, knowing that if he was kicked off during the live elimination shows, there was no going back to his hard-won first West End contract on Phantom of the Opera (ensemble and first cover 'Raoul'). The gamble paid off - self-belief, determination and hard work rewarded as his quiet charm, cheeky humour, beautiful voice and exquisite story-telling won the hearts and votes of the nation.
In bringing his own show to New York, he will be fulfilling another long-held dream and his voice brims with excitement as he talks of making his debut at the prestigious 54 Below in the heart of New York's theatre district.

54 Below is New York’s Broadway themed supper club, a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve and expand the art of the cabaret. Accommodating 140 people in the main dining room and bar, with all tables no more than 24 feet from the stage, it features up to three shows nightly.
