Caroline Moody, reviewing The West End Men's debut concert for the Jersey Evening Post, wasn't entirely convinced by the song selection but was impressed by the "gorgeous, powerful voices" of the Men and by their "stunning" guest star.
It's obviously a personal thing, but I relish the opportunity to hear songs from shows I haven't seen, as did this concert goer, commenting on The West End Men's Facebook page: "It was absolutely fantastic to hear such a range of songs - it was lovely to hear some well known classics but also really delighted to hear some west end hits I'd never heard before ... so thankful to West End Men for opening my eyes to a new array of west end classics!"
