Finally caught up with this lovely interview, which also includes vox pop reviews from the first night audience, together with a few of their questions for Lee. Interviewer, Ingrid Hagemann (sitting in for Simon Logan on his BBC Radio Newcastle lunchtime show), had clearly enjoyed the show both on first night and when she returned with her family later in the week and had a lively, engaging style which made for a very relaxed interview.
There was also some airplay for Lee's fourth album Some Enchanted Evening (which he'll be touring in October) from Ingrid's BBC Newcastle colleague Michael Poulter when he played the delightfully whimsical I'll See You In My Dreams about 30 minutes into his Sunday evening show.
