A timely tweet from Lee brought this lovely chat with Sally Naden for BBC Radio Lancashire to our attention. Talking ahead of his Lee Mead - 10 Years - The Anniversary Tour stop at Lowther PavilionLytham St Anne's on Saturday 28 April. Lee sounded very laid-back, talking easily about his work from the early days of training to his TV success in more recent years, and about his music, finally selecting a track from his new 10 Year Anniversary album - Dancing Through Life from Wicked - to play out the interview.
Both tour and album celebrate an amazing decade since Lee first won and played the role of Joseph in the West End. Having opened with two sell-out shows in February, the tour continues one weekend a month through to November - the extended schedule allowing for Lee's ongoing Holby City filming commitments. In addition to April's Lytham date, he returns to the North West later in the tour with a visit to Stockport Plaza on Friday 27 July.
