Lee emerged from the quiet of a well-earned post-panto rest to join in the debate about development plans for his home town, Southend-on-Sea. Born and bred in the area, he returned to live there five years ago after working away for several years - and he's passionate about the town.

So, nothing to report from a career perspective, just lovely to hear him talking as a local lad. And as such he thinks the prospects of a cash injection into the town is very exciting, good for jobs and visitors alike, but cautions that the needs of local people need to be considered too if the next generation are not to be priced out of the housing market.
