Three weeks into his stint as Billy Flynn in the Chicago the Musical UK tour, with rave reviews for both the show and his role in it in his wake, Lee Mead talks to Maria Felix Vas at BBC Radio Lancashire and Liz Green at BBC Radio Sheffield ahead of the upcoming tour stops in Blackpool (Winter Gardens 28 June to 2 July) and Sheffield (Lyceum Theatre 5 to 9 July).
Their chat focused largely on his role in the iconic show - the hugely charismatic but wholly self-serving lawyer, Billy Flynn, a character he plays *very* convincingly and confesses to be enjoying immensely. The tour continues to Norwich and Oxford, ending in Llandudno on 30 July - full schedule and booking details here.
