You have no doubt seen on Lee's social media, or in the press, that Lee recently travelled to Turkey for a hair transplant. He has shared his experience with characteristic honesty, hoping that his openness about a subject that remains something of a taboo would be helpful for others who were considering the procedure.

A few days after his return, he joined Sonia Watson on her breakfast show for BBC Radio Essex to talk about why he had it done, why now, why travel for it and more.

They also caught up on other news, including a fund-raising cold water swim for local charity Equal People Performing Arts and Mushroom Theatre Company, of which he has long been a very proud patron.
