Lee joined Carla Greene by phone on her morning show for BBC Radio Humberside to chat live about all things Barnum ahead of the UK & Ireland tour's visit to Hull's New Theatre next week (2 - 6 June). There was of course talk of the tightrope, of how much audiences of all generations are loving the show, and of how much Lee is looking forward to being back in Hull having first visited over 20 years ago with the tour of Joseph and again more recently for Cinderella.
There was a slight delay on the line (largely edited out below) which may be why they didn't also touch on the return to Hull later this year of his hugely popular concert show The Phantoms - its third tour calls at City Hall on 25 September.
