Lee made his eagerly awaited debut as Emmett Forest at West End Live 2011. He shared the stage with Carley Stenson as Elle (a role she will take over from Susan McFadden full-time on 11 July 2011) and, briefly, with Simon Thomas as Warner.While the song - Chip on My Shoulder - was perhaps not the most obvious choice to 'sell' the show to a new audience, especially taken out of context as a standalone number, I personally have no complaints about Legally Blonde wanting to showcase their new leads and both Lee and Carley did a fantastic job.
I was already very excited to see Lee's first show on Monday night, and this delightful 'appetiser' simply increased the anticipation. On a day that saw fairly frequent showers, occasional downpours and even the odd hail storm, the heavens smiled for Lee's time in the spotlight, which allowed me to capture the video below.
