After being wonderfully close to home last year, Lee's heading back up north to Scarborough for this year's panto - his 14th, but also a first, for this time he'll be playing the baddie!I've been eagerly anticipating this particular development ever since he played Khashoggi with such obvious relish in the 2023 London Coliseum production of We Will Rock You so I was delighted to see today's announcement that he will be playing the Sheriff of Nottingham in the Scarborough Spa and Tony Peers Ltd production of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood this Christmas.
From the venue's website:
"In this magical production we promise sensational costumes, sparkling sets, and great songs to sing along to this festive season, fun for all the family!
Joining Lee will be Katie McGlynn (Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road and Coronation Street) as Maid Marion, with further casting to be announced. The production runs from Saturday 5 December to Sunday 3 January (weekends only until 19 December) and tickets, priced from £20 plus fees, are on sale NOW!
