A couple of short scenes and a lot of background shots sums up Lofty and involvement in this episode - they're certainly playing his character in slowly, but that may have something to do with Lee's limited shooting time before disappearing off to panto for a couple of months!
Radio Times: "A Casualty/Holby City crossover is an all-too-rare occurrence these days, but Dr Guy Self (John Michie) remedies that oversight when he gets involved with ED affairs. He’s leading the questioning at Lily Chau’s hearing, following her accusations of workplace bullying against Ash – and it’s plain from that scowl on Guy’s face that he doesn’t like what he’s hearing.
Now, Ash doesn’t make a habit of throwing his weight around, but maybe Lily was right to object to her mentor’s actions. Synopsis: A pair of environmental activists are brought in for treatment after causing the explosion of a lorry during an anti-fracking demonstration, and Ethan's conscience is tested when it turns out they are both hiding secrets from each other. Rita and Zoe help a desperate prisoner repair his relationship with his mother, while Lily and Ash go head to head at the latter's disciplinary hearing.
With my ever grateful thanks to the anonymous editor and my profuse apologies to those of the cast who have hit the cutting room floor, here's the 'Meady bits' edit! There are also a few screencaps from this week's episode!
