SERIES 29, EPISODE 21 - SWEETIEThe synopsis for this episode made me wonder how much room there was for patient storylines amongst the staff intrigues, but it turned out to be one of the more gripping episodes I've seen recently, thanks largely to a superbly sinister performance from Marcia Warren. There was little of Lofty however, and nearly all of it tied up in Valentine fluffery. Roll on next week, I say, and some eagerly anticipated Lofty/Dylan 'double act' action!
Synopsis: A high-profile criminal tests everyones professionalism, while Connie helps a desperate mother to understand that sometimes acceptance has to take the place of justice. Love is in the air. Robyn gives Lofty an anonymous Valentine's Day card, while Ethan and Honey share a goodbye kiss before Honey leaves to look after her injured grandmother.
Noel is disappointed that Honey is leaving, but before she goes she calls him dad for the first time. Connie asks for Cal's resignation but later withdraws after Charlie puts her straight. Meanwhile Dylan is asked to apply for the consultant's vacancy by Connie.
