SERIES 29, EPISODE 27 - SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUEI've come to the conclusion that position on the cast list rarely bears any relation to the amount of screen time a character gets... there were lots of little bits of Lofty again tonight, which were delightful and beautifully played as always, but nothing major story-wise although I do enjoy seeing him nursing rather than clowning. There can't be many episodes before he disappears for a few weeks as Lee's panto filming break works its way through the schedules. One more good story before he goes? Pretty please!

Synopsis: Connie continues to help her friend Alfred, who has motor neurone disease, and gives him special treatment. But as his condition deteriorates, she is left with a dilemma when he asks her to help him die. A former heroin addict lies about his past to protect his future wife, little realising the danger he is putting himself in, while a young woman is brought in after crashing her car to claim on the insurance. Ethan discovers that Cal stole his money, Taylor disappears and Iain applies for a new job.
