SERIES 30, EPISODE 6 - ALL THE SINGLE LADIESWe are enjoying a rich vein of Lofty action at the moment, this week brought another fabulous episode in which he and Dylan played Holmes and Watson, working together to diagnose and treat a patient and developing a partnership (some might call it a double act!) that is a real joy to watch. It gives Lee and Will Beck some great material to work with and they rise beautifully to the challenge.
I was especially pleased to see writer, Mark Catley, tweet after the show "I could watch Lofty and Dylan all day long" ... let's hope he gives us plenty more opportunities to do so in future!
Synopsis: Iain and Dixie are pushed to the limit during their Height and Rescue training but they prove themselves and sparks fly when Dixie meets Jess. Elsewhere, Lily takes great interest in a patient when she discovers he's a banker, but the cause of his symptoms raise her suspicions and her interest quickly fades when she learns the truth.
Meanwhile, Dylan and Lofty treat an accident-prone patient who puts it down to being clumsy. Lofty assigns himself and Dylan the mission of seeing whether her accidents are linked to a medical condition which could help her with a looming court case. Also this week, Dylan is grateful when Lofty offers to look after his dog Dervla.
