S21-E20 : THE WRONG HORSE
At last... the wanderer returns! And I couldn't have been more delighted to see Lee back on screen... even if the 'reality' he returns to is far from the happy landing he might have expected. But it seems he has no right to expect that anyway. Oh Lofty! Or, rather, oh Holby writers! Behaviour so far out of character, I'm struggling to suspend my disbelief high enough to cover it. Or could it be, just possibly, that Lofty's definition of cheating is as far removed from the norm as his supposed behaviour is from his character.
OK... I'll calm down now. This is fiction. And strife breeds really rather fabulous acting - from Lee, from David Ames (Dom), and I'm sure from Marc Elliott (Isaac) as this story develops - his appearance in this episode was too brief to judge!
Synopsis: As Chloe tries to come to terms with the news that Dominic is her half-brother, she's forced to operate with him and Ange. But as tension boils over and Evan helps her uncover a home truth, will Chloe be able to cope? Lofty returns to Holby after the holiday of a lifetime. With something clearly on his mind, he wants to speak to Dominic but misses his moment when he learns that Ange is Dominic's birth-mother. But what is Lofty hiding? And who is just around the corner? When an infestation of rodents take refuge at Sacha's home, he decides it's time to move out of Jac's house and leave her in peace. Jac worries whether he's really ready, but what will Sacha do to convince her?
The full episode can be viewed on BBC iPlayer until 13 June 2019 while below, with my apologies to those of the cast who have hit the cutting room floor, is the Lofty edit...
