S21-E43 : PROMISETonight's episode had just two storylines running through it - a surreal, other-worldly playing out of past losses in the subconscious, aneasthetised mind of Ric Griffin (Hugh Quarshie) as he tries to find meaning in the life that hangs in the very balance...
And the harsh reality of the consequences of Lofty's infidelity as the secret that both Helen (Verity Marshall) and Dom (David Ames) have been keeping from him finally comes out. Lovely work from all three... there's a lot more to come from this storyline and I look forward to seeing where it goes in the coming weeks.
Synopsis: Max performs dangerous brain surgery on Ric, during which he is confronted by his dead son, Leo and past love, Diane who force him to make a choice. Will he choose life or death? Dom struggles when a pregnant Helen returns to Holby. Lofty finds out he's going to be a dad and Dom tries to support him, but can Lofty deal with Dom's deception?
