S21-E44 : HUBBLE BUBBLEI'm not enjoying where the writers are taking this storyline, or more specifically the character of Lofty (Lee Mead) as it plays out, but I am enjoying having Lee at the heart of it.
Neither Lofty nor Dom (David Ames) covered themselves in glory in their dealings with Helen (Verity Marshall) or each other in this ep. With Lofty still resentful at being kept in the dark for so long, Dom masking his hurt and uncertainty with misplaced humour, and both still struggling to get their heads around what it all means for them and their relationship, it was left to poor Helen to be the grown-up of the three.
Synopsis: It's Halloween and Cameron makes a fatal oversight with the Grim Reaper! It soon becomes clear that he is haunted by his own ghosts. Jac is rattled when Stacey informs her that she and Jonny are moving to Edinburgh but, after Jac threatens her, Stacey drops an even bigger bombshell. Can Dofty's relationship survive, after Dominic gets the wrong idea about co-parenting Lofty's baby?
