With the UK Tour of Barnum arriving in Bournemouth this week, BBC South Today were at the Bournemouth Pavilion earlier this week to record a piece about the last time the Barnum & Bailey circus came to town... more than 100 years ago! I'm sure Lee will have enjoyed seeing the archive materials and I certainly enjoyed the snippet of him and Monique Young (Charity Barnum) rehearsing...
Barnum is in Bournemouth until Saturday (20 June) and then moves on to Richmond (23-27 June) and then to Lee's home town Southend (30 June - 4 July) where his time as Barnum comes to an end... for now at least!
