Just back from his long-awaited holiday, Lee attended the South Bank Show Awards at the Dorchester on Park Lane, London.The awards were televised and I originally shared a rough video edit of the few glimpses of him sitting in the audience, mostly applauding, once almost hidden behind fellow curly-mop, Alan Davies! At the time such glimpses were rare and to be savoured ... more than a decade on, when Lee on the TV is a regular event (not least due to his long-standing role in Casualty and Holby City), they seem rather less significant, so I'm going just with this gorgeous picture of Lee on the red carpet with Michael Ball.
