West End Story tracks the remarkable careers of the eventual winners: Jodie Prenger, Lee Mead and Connie Fisher, and it also tells the stories of some of the other finalists whose lives were turned upside down by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The edit included here focuses, naturally, on Lee as well as the wider issues of casting by television, but you can see the whole show (in six parts, with thanks to Miss AVuk) on YouTube.
