Close on the heels of his 'Favourite Newcomer' nomination in the 2014 TV Times Awards, Lee tweeted earlier how honoured (and shocked!) he was to find himself on the 'Newcomer' longlist for the 2015 National Television Awards - one of only six nominees in this category.These Awards, now in their 20th year, are again voted by the public and this first round of voting is open until Sunday 26 October. The shortlist will then be announced in January and a second round of voting will open, leading up to the Awards Show at the O2 on 21 January 2015.
Also nominated for awards are Lee's colleagues Amanda Mealing and Derek Thompson in the 'Drama Performance' category and the show itself, Casualty, in the 'Drama' category.
