Nothing Else Matters album release .. 9 March 2009
Lee Mead - Nothing Else Matters, 2009 Lee's long-awaited second album 'Nothing Else Matters' was released on 9 March. You'll find the full track listing and lyrics in the Discography and clicking on the cover image (right) will reveal additional photos from the CD booklet.

The album features a mix of original material, on which Lee has worked with some of the best song-writers in the business, alongside a refreshingly bold choice of covers including Train's 'Drops of Jupiter', Spandau Ballet's 'Through the Barricades' and Extreme's 'More Than Words', and a beautiful arrangement of 'When The Stars Go Blue' on which he duets with Hayley Westenra.

Lee more than does justice to the material, and his two co-writes - 'Breathe You Out' with Chris Braide and 'Good To Be Alive' with Charlie Grant and Pete Woodroffe - show that he has more to offer than just his wonderful vocal talents.

Having hung up his Dreamcoat at the beginning of the year, Lee embarked on a national radio tour to promote the album, visiting local stations all over the country... greeted by fans at nearly every stop (many a friendship was struck up while waiting for him!).

indieLondon gave the album a 4**** review and the title track was released as a single - you can see the accompanying video on YouTube (record company restrictions prevent me embedding it here), while below is a wonderful 'behind the scenes' feature from the 14 hour videoshoot!
