S19-E37 : FOR YOU MAY BE THE NEXT TO DIEI enjoyed Holby City long before Lee's involvement and they have always, in my opinion, delivered the goods in terms of the human stories of the staff in a way that Casualty, with its patient-led plotlines, simply can't. But tonight was outstanding, even by those standards - writing, direction, acting all on point - as the ultimately tragic drama of the Jasmine/Jac/Fran triangle played out against the comic tenderness of Lofty and Dom's growing friendship.
There are plenty of hints of something more than just friendship between these two, but I'm loving the slow build, wherever it may eventually lead... that bed-side "you do make a nice pair" scene was all sorts of perfect! I am SO enjoying Lee being back on our TV screens!
