The bill was somewhat eclectic - including singers Shakin' Stevens, Bucks Fizz and Zoe Birkett, comedians Hal Cruttenden and Tom Binns and ventriloquist, Paul Zerdin - and you can read more about the event in these articles on Get Surrey and on the charity's website.
For my part, I was lucky enough to be there to witness in person a fabulous performance from Lee - expecting perhaps just one song, I was delighted that the capacity audience was treated to not one, not two, but three songs from the set list of Lee's ongoing 2014 tour to close the first act.
The first two were upbeat numbers, entirely fitting for the energy of the evening - 'Luck Be A Lady' and 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' - the audience clapping along and whooping in appreciation at the finish. But it was his third song choice that raised the roof as Lee gave one of the very best performances of 'Bring Him Home' that I have ever heard

The local press were in agreement with more than one local paper reporting on the event - this from Woking News and Mail: "Lee Mead left [the audience] spellbound with his perfect performance of Bring Him Home...". You can read their full review (with picture), along with others, in the October press round-up. I took only a handful of photos - click any below to view the full Gallery - including a couple of Paul Zerdin for good measure, as I too was once again spellbound by the man in front of me!Just accompanied @leemeadofficial at Woking for @BobbyDavro1. Stunning talent! #lesmiserable
