The delight that was Lee's 2015 Some Enchanted Evening tour continued throughout 2016, starting with a series of album launch gigs in the now familiar intimacy of The Pheasantry in Chelsea, where Lee was accompanied by his long-time musical director and producer, Mason Neely, and the always fabulous Will Stuart. Close on the heels of these came three more full concert dates in March before Lee went into rehearsals for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He followed that run with a 12-date October tour - starting in Leamington Spa on the 2nd and ending, fittingly, with a home town gig for Lee at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on the 28th, returning there for his fourth solo concert a little over two years since his last visit. The tour, and Lee's fourth album, also Some Enchanted Evening (released 26 February), drew on the music that inspired his love of musical theatre during a childhood when he avidly watched the great Hollywood musical films on TV. Films that gave us such classics as 'Singin' In The Rain', 'Luck Be A Lady' from Guys and Dolls, 'The Way You Look Tonight' from Swingtime and of course the song that gives name to the tour 'Some Enchanted Evening' from South Pacific.
