Lee Mead .. Timeline - Lee Mead : My Band & Me, 2021 tour

Ever since Lee told Magic Radio a couple of months ago that his COVID-hit 2020 My Band And Me tour would finally be going ahead in Autumn 2021, I've been keeping my eyes peeled for news and this week a few clues started appearing, following by tweeted confirmation from the man himself, that an announcement was imminent! Venues started going on sale at 10am today Friday 27 November with the full schedule being published a little later in the day, accompanied by a lovely video from Lee!

Lee says of the tour: "So excited to be on the road again with my new show. I'll be turning 40 next year so I want the 'My Band & Me' tour to be the best yet and one big celebration of my life at 40 singing hits from throughout my career and from my new album." Can't wait to get the party started!

UPDATE (29/07/2021): Sadly, this pandemic is not done with us yet and in view of the continuing uncertainty and the natural booking hesitancy that results, it has not been possible to continue with the full tour as planned. Lee's statement explains further:

"It is with great regret that I have had to make the very difficult decision of cancelling some of my shows for my forthcoming tour due to the current climate and continued uncertainty over the last few months. Unfortunately we feel that putting on the full UK tour at this time isn't viable but I still hope to perform some selective live dates throughout this Autumn. Until then keep safe and I hope to see you all very soon."

I'm desperately sad for Lee, and the entire industry, that a return to doing what they love is proving to be so very difficult. The revised schedule is detailed below. Box Offices are in the process of contacting bookers direct, by email or phone, to arrange refunds, etc., for the cancelled shows.
