The single, written by Lee's musical director, the multi-talented Adam Dennis, is available digitally now on all the usual platforms - links here and is reviewed - "a happy and hopeful new Christmas standard" here.
Lee was out and about in central London last Sunday (6 December) recording the fabulous video you can see below ... added to Adam Dennis's cracking song is a double decker bus, a big Christmas tree, the Salvation Army, the West End Gospel Choir, featured key workers (including Lee's postman Dad, Steve!) and a happy ending. What more could you want!
The key workers link is very important to Lee - there are several in his immediate family - and he had hoped to thank them with a free Christmas concert in the West End, but COVID restrictions prevented it. Instead he has teamed up with the GMB Union and is gifting 1000 tickets for his 35-date 2021 My Band and Me tour to key workers amongst their members via a ballot which will run from 14 December to 1 January. You can read more about both the single and the key worker ticket giveaway in this article.
As promo for the single kicks in, Lee is chatting to BBC local TV and radio - check the Timeline index for all the latest news - while at 9am on Friday 11 December the video, filmed just five days earlier, premiered on YouTube... and it's just perfect! Enjoy.
