Lovely pre-recorded interview with Richard Stead for his BBC Radio Leeds morning show, ahead of Lee's visit to the city with his Some Enchanted Evening tour on Thursday 6 October. It will be his first time at the historic City Varieties Music Hall which seems a perfect setting for a tour that takes its audience back to the golden age of Hollywood musical films.
Richard explored Lee's Yorkshire connections which brought out stories of Ken Dodd in Bridlington from his very early days in the business and, more recently, how his Chitty story began. Oh, and Lee promised that if the venue sells out, he will dance 'Me Ole Bamboo' on the night... that's an incentive to book if ever I heard one!
