Lee has filmed an episode for CBBC show The Dumping Ground, due to air in the autumn. He has also just wrapped on filming a stage musical for BroadhwayHD - a revival of Shire & Maltby's Closer Than Ever, also due to stream in the autumn. On the music front, to celebrate his 40th birthday and 20 years in the business, Lee takes his solo show to the London Palladium on 10 June, backed by a 12-piece band with plans to film it for live album and DVD release! He follows that up with a 35 date My Band and Me UK tour in, you've guessed it, the autumn (September and October are going to be busy months for Lee's fans!).
As always, when these two get together, the chat was relaxed and engaging, not shying away from the difficulties the past year has presented for performers and the world at large, but focusing very much on the positives to come.
