Though he was 'meeting' Colin for the first time, of course he knows Suzanne from their time on Casualty together, and the conversation flowed easily - from the aforementioned concert to his future plans. He talked of filming a guest episode of CBBC show The Dumping Ground (he plays a rock star called Drew, due to air in September) and a musical Closer Than Ever for Broadway HD (also due to stream in September), of his 35-date My Band And Me tour (September/October) and the recently announced 2022 UK tour of Fat Friends the Musical (in which he plays Paul, a lovelorn Zumba-teaching vicar!). He also let slip that he'll be in Bromley for panto this Christmas - playing the Prince (of course) in Sleeping Beauty (now confirmed). He's going to be busy... how wonderful!
