Lee Mead .. Timeline - BBC Local Radio, September 2021

Lee popped up on three BBC local radio stations today to chat about his My Band And Me tour, which kicked off in fantastic style last Friday in Clacton and continues with another ten dates around the UK through September and October, including these venues local to the three stations:

The Stables, Wavendon (Milton Keynes) on Friday 1 October

Castle Theatre, Wellingborough on Sunday 17 October

New Theatre Royal, Lincoln on Friday 22 October

City Varieties, Leeds on Saturday 23 October

Conversation ranged over lockdown life, the return to live performance, Lee's brilliant 40th birthday celebration concert at the London Palladium on 10 June (a DVD of which is available for sale at tour venues and will be on general release in November), as well as upcoming work on stage and screen including a guest episode of The Dumping Ground, the imminent release (23 September) on Broadway HD of Closer Than Ever, a musical he filmed a few months ago with co-stars Kerry Ellis, Dalton Harris and Grace Mouat, and the UK tour of Fat Friends, the Musical in 2022.
